"We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next to find ourselves. We travel to open our
hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little
we can, in our ignorance and knowledge,to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we
travel, in essence, to become young fools again - to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.
We travel because we need to, because distance and difference are the secret tonic to creativity. When we get home,
home is still the same. But something in our mind has been changed, and that changes everything."
-Pico Iyer & Jonah Lehrer
I was born with a passion for the map's blank spaces. Exploring them is where I feel most alive and am filled with the greatest sense of wonder and intrigue for the world around. As Nabokov once said..."nostalgia in reverse, the longing for yet another strange land, grew especially strong in spring.” Shall we go forth?
I believe in the wisdom of nature and in the transformative power of Travel. We believe that our local communities hold the keys to create new, healthy and vibrant social systems. And that the time is NOW to drive all the right energies into a Change for the travel industry. I've has been working in luxury travel since the age of 25. Born and raised in Italy, I've lived in China, Israel, Peru, and am currently based in The Netherlands.

I'm committed to building journeys and experiences that contribute to the regeneration of our natural environment and which spark stewardship for thenatural world.
I facilitate life-changing, wilderness stays to some of Fiordland's most beautiful and remote locations. Through Awarua,I offer guests an amazing introduction to seldom visited locations and share our family history, wild foods, incredible nature, surfing, small hikes, free diving and fishing.
At Earthtones, we believe that tourism — when implemented thoughtfully and intentionally — can be a force for regeneration in the world: regenerative to local economic, social, and ecological systems. Partnering with individuals, guides, and communities rich in natural capital — from farmers to community land trusts and ranches — we're co-creating a network of local-powered, immersive nature experiences.
More and more people tend to realize the importance of being connected to the nature and the outdoors for our well being. It is critical to keep sharing this value into the right direction, by behaving in a sustainable way towards the environment.
Cuba is a magical place, and I've been honored to have experienced so much joy and learned so much wisdom over my years in the country. With a population of 11 million—and the same length as Italy—the country is more extensive than people realize. Even though new buildings are going up, and some old structures are maintained, others are slowly crumbling away. Dating from colonial times up until 1960, much of the country looks like a land where time stands still.
The most rewarding aspect of a travel adventure for me is learning about the history of the unique site I am visiting, and supporting those who are diligently working to preserve the natural site for future generations.
