Why did you decide to start leading experiential travel tours?
I started leading travel tours because of my love for my country and its culture and my desire to share it with people from different parts of the world. Additionally, the tours allow me to meet people from different places of the world and learn about how vast and varied the world is.
What do you hope to gain from showing people your environment and culture?
Primarily I want to show them that despite the differences in cultures, we are all the same. Furthermore, through the kind of tourism I offer, I aim to create income for the local communities who need that. I also hope to make a living for myself and my family out of these tours.
What are you most excited to share with tourists?
I'm excited to share the rich history of my country, the rich traditions, and the culture.
What fears do you have about making your land and lifestyle more public?
I have no fears at all. We love to have visitors. Moroccans are known for their hospitality.
What specifically about your culture/history/environment would be beneficial for a traveler to learn about before taking their trip?
We are people who love to meet travelers seeking true contact and experience with the locals. Tourism is very important for us economically speaking, and by visiting us they are supporting small businesses.
