Georgia has a distinctive culture and a rich history that can be traced to classical antiquity and
beyond. Archaeologists have found the oldest known traces of wine production, dated 8000 years BC, in Georgia.
For a country of its modest proportions,it presents a remarkable mix of landscapes and climates, ranging from
some of Europe's highest mountain peaks to the vast wine-growing valleys and lush Black Sea resorts.
Back in 2007, I set off on the mountainous road with backpacks and tents and one mission: to see and explore real Georgia,in its most preserved forms in the remote places of the Caucasus mountains. Today I am a certified trekking guide and tour operator, organizing hiking, trekking and adventure activities in Georgia.
